Extremities such as the jaw, shoulders, ribs, wrists, elbows, fingers, hands, hips, ankles, knees, toes, and feet are the numerous joints present in the body. If you are experiencing symptoms including fatigue or weakness, pain, catching of joints, stiffness or immobility, chronic back issues, or chronic problems in the cervical region, you may need an extremity adjustment.
Dr. Dayne Rogers will adjust your spine and look for potential issues with subluxation, fixation, and/or other joint irregularities, that could lead to chronic spinal problems. We start by assessing the extremities and then perform an analysis which will help us to develop a treatment plan to get your whole body healthy.
Our number one goal is to see our patients be able to live a pain-free life. Our entire staff ensures that you always have your questions answered. We never want you to feel confused about any of the steps in your treatment plan.

As technology advances, your chiropractor might discover new ways to provide treatment to his/her patients. As you can imagine, your doctor sees many different types of people of all shapes and sizes every day, each with different sensitivity levels and pain thresholds. With such a wide variety of patients needs, sometimes the manual adjustment a chiropractor can provide might not be as effective of efficient, which is why your doctor might use a tool like the Arthrostim Instrument to enhance their treatment sessions.
What is the ArthroStim?
The ArthroStim Instrument is a handheld machine that aids your chiropractor in performing adjustments. This powerful tool delivers 12-14 incremental thrusts per second, making it much stronger and faster than a typical single thrust administered by a chiropractor. By dividing the energy of a single thrust into rapid successive inputs, the ArthroStim instrument modulates the force you physician applies in treatment, but in a much more comfortable and effective manner.
How does it work?
In order to understand how an ArthroStim Instrument works, you have to understand how chiropractic adjustment works. A chiropractic adjustment produces precise movements which stimulate “neural receptors” in an injured/affected area. These receptors will then produce nerve impulse which transmit important information to the brain. The brain will process this information and use it to update its awareness about the condition of an area. Once the brain evaluates the changes prompted by the adjustment, it can begin sending out self-correcting commands to the muscular system, and other systems, to bring about healing within your body. The Arthrostim is just another way to administer these adjustments, but it is faster, more comfortable and efficient due to its controlled repetitive input. This input produces a “snowballing” effect on neural receptors and allows it to transmit more information to the brain with less effort, pain and force.
What are the benefits?
The ArthroStim Instrument allows your doctor to maintain the effectiveness of your treatment while greatly reducing the amount of force that is applied, which makes it easier to use on a wide variety of conditions and ailments. Individuals that may especially benefit from the use of the ArthroStim Instrument include:
- Infants and young children
- Individuals with acute or extreme pain
- Particularly sensitive individuals
- Individuals who dislike being “cracked”
- Elderly individuals
Even people who are larger and stronger and therefore more difficult to adjust from a standard single thrust will benefit from the “neurological assist” that the ArthroStim Instrument provides. Typically, your chiropractor might use the ArthroStim Instrument by itself or in combination with other adjusting tecniques, but of course this will depend on the approach they feel is best for your specific treatment. Speak to your chiropractor to find out about the methods they use, and weather or not they think ArthroStim will be right for you.
Laser therapy localizes treatment to significantly reduce or eliminate pain, and promote faster healing for a variety of joint, muscle, circulatory and inflammatory conditions. Laser therapy has proven to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, restore normal tissue growth and stimulate the body’s ability to naturally heal itself.
Most patients feel immediate results with just one laser therapy treatment.
Laser therapy is also highly effective for people recovering from injuries, sprains, strains, post-surgery wounds and more.
How does laser therapy work?
Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that aids in the healing process by increasing blood flow and oxygen to your cells, which helps speed your healing time.
What are the advantages of laser therapy?
Laser therapy treatment does not require the use of drugs or surgeries, and there are no dangerous side effects or health risks. Laser therapy provides enhanced treatment outcomes faster than any other treatment modality.
How are laser therapy treatments administered?
Treatments must be administered directly to skin, as laser light cannot penetrate layers of clothing. You will feel a soothing warmth as the therapy is administered.
How many treatments are needed?
Each patient and their condition are unique. During your initial consultation with your laser therapist you will be assessed and your treatment plan will be determined at that time.
How long is each treatment?
Laser therapy treatments are five to 10 minutes depending on the condition being treated.
Will the treatment hurt?
No, patients will feel a warm, often soothing sensation. There is no pain associated with a treatment. Many patients also experience reduced muscle tension and tightness, reduced inflammation and improved range of motion on their first visit.
Can I receive laser treatments, if I’m under chiropractic care?
Yes, laser therapy will compliment other forms of treatments, such as chiropractic care.
When can I resume normal activity after laser therapy treatments?
The moment a patient leaves the clinic, he or she can resume normal daily activity. It is important to not overexert for a few days as the body is still healing.
Why It Works
We don’t mask the symptoms, we treat the source.
- Unlike injections and prescriptions which just mask the symptoms and do nothing to treat the injury, laser pain therapy reduces inflammation, increases blood flow, stimulates tissue growth, and helps aid the body’s own healing process.
Non-invasive with no recovery time and zero side effects.
- Injections and surgery are painful and require long periods of recovery time and physical therapy. Laser pain therapy is completely safe with zero side effects, and requires absolutely no down time.
It is completely safe.
- Laser pain therapy is recognized by the FDA as a safe and effective treatment for a multitude of conditions and injuries.
